Established in 2012, BioLunch began as a summer lunchtime seminar series between biology-focused research groups in the chemical engineering department at NCSU. Over our 10 years, this seminar series has grown to include over 40 laboratory groups representing five different colleges at NC State, bringing together graduate students and postdoctoral fellows with research interests in the broad areas of synthetic and systems biology .
With the help of generous sponsors and the NC State Office of Research and Innovation (ORI), the BioLunch seminar series now comprises a variety of sessions relevant to the research interests and professional development such as student research talks, professional development seminars, and invited talks from outside academic and industrial speakers.
This year, BioLunch is taking on a virtual format of presentations open to any interested participants. Be sure to check out our schedule for more information.
